Baltimore Psychologists

Through our office, we provide a comprehensive range of clinical and consultative psychological services.  We offer individual therapy to children, adolescents, and adults, as well as couples and family therapies.  We also perform consultative services including forensic psychological, neuropsychological, and psycho-educational evaluations, competency to proceed (stand trial) evaluations, executive selection evaluations, workplace violence risk assessments, consultations regarding disruptive professionals, and continuing education workshops on a variety of topics.

For over two decades, we have been assisting people enhance their relationships with family, friends, classmates, and coworkers, improve their physical and emotional health, and advance their academic and professional careers.

We have served on the faculty of the Johns Hopkins University, Loyola University Maryland, and Harford Community College and have held leadership roles on the Ethics Committee and the Colleague Assistance Committee for the Maryland Psychological Association (MPA).

Drs. Michael Heitt and Sandra Hawkins-Heitt earned Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) degrees in clinical psychology from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology in Chicago and have worked in a variety of settings, including employee assistance programs, pediatric hospitals, rehabilitation hospitals, inpatient psychiatric hospitals, outpatient mental health centers, emergency departments, court systems, and not-for-profit organizations.  We are licensed psychologists in the State of Maryland.  Bennett Heitt is a doctoral candidate at Loyola University Maryland and holds two master’s degrees (in forensic psychology and clinical psychology).  He is a registered psychology associate.
